HAUTE COUTURE FASHION WEEK SS18 IN PARIS (January 23)

The next day of Haute Couture Fashion Week 2018 opened the versatile creative director Karl Lagerfeld, who introduced more than 60 different styles in his new collection for Chanel. The interior of the show was carried in a classic couture atmosphere - French fountain, flowers and minimalism. Karl Lagerfeld said that everything he was creating was spontaneous without pre-planning. The silhouettes were mostly pastel shades - classic Chanel Tweed, chiffon dresses, feather-lined coats and evening dresses, some of them wide and some gradually narrowing.

Další den Haute Couture Fashion Weeku 2018 otevřel všestranný kreativní ředitel Karl Lagerfeld, který představil v nové kolekci pro Chanel více než 60 různých looků. Interiér přehlídky se nesl v klasické couture atmosféře - francouzská fontána, květiny a minimalismus. Karl Lagerfeld sdělil, že byl vše, co tvořil bylo spontánní bez předběžného plánování. Siluety měly převážně pastelové odstíny - klasický chanelovský tvíd, šifónové šaty, péřové lemované kabátky a večerní oděvy, z nichž některé byly široké a některé se postupně zužovaly.

After the Chanel show, fashion designer Alexis Mabille, who presented her new haute couture collection for spring and summer 2018 on the Paris fashion week. Alexis gathered inspiration from
the 'male codes' in her collections to enhance feminism, so it's no surprise that we could see, for example, a manly cut straight jacket with trousers or a straight-cut coat. The vast majority of the garments were tuned into darker colors without distinctive details, flowers or adornments - which is a totally different offset against the Chanel fashion house. On the contrary, there were dramatic gowns, some of which were gorgeous with lace or frills.

Po přehlídce Chanel přišel na řadu módní návrhář Alexis Mabille, který na pařížském fashion weeku předvedl svou novou haute couture kolekci na jaro a léto 2018. Alexis ve svých kolekcích čerpá z 'mužských kódů', aby zesílil feminismus, proto není žádným překvapením, že jsme na přehlídce mohli vidět například mužsky střižené rovné sako s kalhotami či rovně střižený kabát. Valná většina oděvů byla laděna do tmavších barev bez výrazných detailů, květin či ozdob - což je zcela jiný odvar oproti módnímu domu Chanel. Naopak zde převládaly dramatické róby z nichž některé byly ozvláštněny jemnou krajkou, nebo volánky.

The first look, where the fashion house Julien Fournié started his new haute couture collection SS18, sought inspiration in Japanese gardens and clothing. This inspo with Japanese traditions was mingling in the whole collection, so we had the opportunity to move to a beautiful exotic orientalist and to disengage from all the stereotypes. Besides the glamorous gown full of the smallest details, the makeup was also interesting - the use of a white shadow under the eyes that gradually disappeared into the lost. This idea was very original and gave the whole outfit a new dimension.

První look, kterým módní dům Julien Fournié odstartoval svou novou haute couture kolekci SS18, hledal inspiraci v japonských zahradách a typicky japonských oděvech. Inpirace japonskými tradicemi se prolínala celou kolekcí, tudíž jsme měli možnost, nachvíli se přesunout do nádherného exotického orientu a odpoutat se od všechních stereotypů. Mimo okouzlující róby plné i těch nejmenších detailů, zajímavé bylo i líčení - tedy použití bílého stínu pod očima, který postupně mizel do ztracena. Tato idea byla velmi originální a dodala tak celému outfitu nový rozměr.

The SS18 collection from the fashion house Giorgio Armani Privé, might not have looked like haute couture at first sight, but it still had something unique in it. What particularly interested me in the show was the combination and gradual gradation of colors on tunics, tops, dresses, skirts and soft trousers. Besides, at the end it became a very interesting moment; several women entered the pier with escort men dressed in elegant velvet suits. To emphasize and symbolize the power of femininity, they always went two steps ahead of men.

Kolekce SS18 od módního domu Giorgio Armani Privé možná na první pohled nepůsobila jako haute couture, i přesto v sobě ale měla něco jedinečného. Co mne osobně na přehlídce nejvíce zaujalo, byla kombinace a postupné stupňování barev na tunikách, topech, šatech, sukních a měkkých kalhotách. Mimoto se na konci stal velmi zajímavý okamžik; několik žen vstoupilo na molo za doprovodu mužů oblečených v elegantních sametových oblecích. Aby se zdůraznila a symbolizovala síla ženskosti, šly vždy dva kroky před muži.

The debut haute couture collection of creative director Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy has shown women's courage and dignity. If anyone doubted why the Givenchy brand should be a haute couture, Clare Waight Keller has completely silenced them. "I wanted to use the power of a tailor, but in a woman's way," she said. The main inspiration for her was the thought of a garden in the dark night, when the dress attracted the moonlight. The black color was supposed to attract new clients, and the crystals hanging on the dress during the move looked great.

Debutová haute couture kolekce kreativní ředitelky Clare Waight Keller pro Givenchy ukázala ženskou odvahu a důstojnost. Pokud někdo pochyboval o tom, proč by měla být značka Givenchy mezi haute couture, Clare Waight Keller je zcela umlčela. „Chtěla jsem použít sílu krejčovství, ale ženskou cestou,” sdělila. Hlavní inspirací pro ni byla myšlenka zahrady v temné noci, kdy šaty přitahují měsíční světlo. Černá barva měla přilákat nové klienty a krystaly zavěšené na šatech během pohybu vypadaly přímo skvěle.
